Sergio teaches Intro to Anatomy and Physiology as well as AP Chemistry at ALL. He has a Masters degree in Biochemistry and Marine Biology from Monterey Institute of Technology, and a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona. Sergio received his Permanent Resident status in 2009 through a special national interest petition after the USA Immigration Office verified that he is one of three people in the world capable of identifying over 500 Drosophila species.
